Using the AI Assistant
FoolProof has an assistant built in that knows your store. Ask it a question in plain English and it answers from your live data — and when something needs attention, it tells you first instead of waiting to be asked.
Ask it anything about your store
Open Assistant and type a question the way you'd ask a manager. It looks up the answer and shows you the figures.
- "What were my top sellers last weekend?"
- "How much whiskey did I sell in July, and what's my margin on it?"
- "What's low on stock right now?"
- "Which orders still need to go out today?"
Answers are grounded in real dates and real records — it works from the period you ask about, not a guess. You can keep the conversation going; it remembers the thread.
It watches for trouble on its own
The assistant doesn't just wait for questions. It monitors your store and surfaces the things that quietly cost you money:
| It flags | So you can |
|---|---|
| Stockouts | Reorder a fast mover before the shelf is empty and the sale walks out. |
| Margin slips | Catch an item whose margin has quietly dropped and fix the price or cost. |
| Dead stock | Spot what isn't moving and stop tying up cash on the shelf. |
Each alert links straight to the item or screen it's about, so acting on it is one tap — not a scavenger hunt.
It proposes; you decide
When there's an obvious next step — say, setting a reorder point on an item that keeps running out — the assistant can propose the action and show it to you as a card. Nothing happens until you confirm it. It never changes your store on its own.
Turning it on
The AI Assistant is a per-store feature enabled from settings. Once it's on, it appears in your sidebar and starts building its picture of the store from your live data.
